Separate Programs for Women

While New Directions serves both men and women, the programs are entirely separate to ensure a safe and supportive environment. The women’s program is staffed exclusively by women, and all meals, groups, and lectures are held separately from the men’s program.

Family Connection

Family plays a vital role in recovery. Female participants who are mothers may spend time with their children during the week and during scheduled visiting times. The facility also provides designated play areas to ensure children feel comfortable and welcome.

Care for Expecting Mothers

Women who are pregnant are encouraged to participate in treatment and may do so through either residential or outpatient programs. Many women have successfully engaged in treatment while expecting, supported by a compassionate and experienced care team.
